Pastor Tim was raised in Southern Illinois. He and his wife, Misty, were married in July of 1987 and have four children whose names are Orry, Cody, Mikaila, and Hayden.

He has received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biblical Studies and a minor in Christian Education from Mid-Continent Bible College in Mayfield, Kentucky.

He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree as a student with Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia, Georgia. Tim has been has been leading the First Baptist family since 2005.
