Bro. Eric joined the First Baptist family in July 2007.

Bro. Eric and his wife Penny were born and raised in Elizabethton, TN. They were married in October 1993 and have three daughters, Lexi (4/2/97), Bailee (11/10/00), and Ally (9/8/08). Bro. Eric surrendered to the ministry in 1989 and went on to earn an Associate Degree in Religion/Church Ministries from Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute in Hendersonville, NC.

Eric enjoys spending time with his family and being involved in his daughter’s sporting events. Penny worked as an OB/GYN nurse before moving to Festus, but is now a stay at home mom. Lexi enjoys the challenges of various sports; Bailee, a bundle of energy, has the gift of keeping her family entertained; and Ally is just content with the love of her big sisters.

After being first committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and each other, Eric and his family enthusiastically serve the local church family.
