Dear FBCFCC Family,

One hundred and seventeen years ago, twenty-eight people established First Baptist Church and began meeting once a month. Since that day, First Baptist has grown and been a beacon in our surrounding communities. Through the years, our church has undergone many different challenges and phases of growth, but our mission has remained the same. It is still our desire to take God’s wonderful message to others and allow Him to change our hearts. Changed hearts make for changed families, which makes for changed communities.

God has wonderfully blessed First Baptist with bringing more and more families to join our church family. Consequently, we have come to the place to which we are outgrowing our current church facilities. It is becoming more and more difficult to find enough room to accommodate our needs and ministries, not to mention having enough room to encourage future growth.

A growing congregation requires growing space. By beginning with phase one, of our master plan, our new church will give us approximately an additional twenty-five thousand square feet, from what we currently have in our existing facilities. This particular phase will also allow us to offer another dimension to our current ministries, by building a family life center. Our future facility will offer fresh opportunities to our families and also give us exciting ways to help bring others in.

We are undertaking a monumental task, in which only God will be able to help us achieve. This is perhaps the greatest task that God will use to challenge our generation. Earlier generations of First Baptist have greatly sacrificed in past times. However, it is now time for our generation to make sacrifices for the future. While we all cannot give the same amount of financial support to “A Bridge to our Community.” we must all give sacrificially. To sacrifice means to willingly give the best I have for a greater purpose. God will lead you to know what your commitment should be if you sincerely ask Him to speak to your heart.

There is no greater investment opportunity than investing in God’s Kingdom!
